Job summary

Essex Wildlife Trust is seeking a Weekend Centre Assistant for the Nature Discovery Centre at Thorndon, Brentwood. You will serve customers in retail and food & beverage areas, operate tills and prepare drinks using the barista machine, while maintaining a clean and welcoming space.

The role is permanent, part-time, 8 hours per week across Saturdays and Sundays, at £13.08 per hour. You will work alongside volunteers to deliver excellent customer service in a conservation-minded setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering friendly, helpful customer service.
• Ability to operate a till and handle transactions.
• Experience or interest in food and beverage service is beneficial.
• A team player who can work with volunteers and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in retail and food & beverage areas.
