Home Instead Basildon is seeking a Weekend Care Professional to join our team. This weekend role offers regular visits to support older adults at home, with companionship, personal care, meal support, and light household duties. Clear availability for weekends is essential, and you will make a meaningful difference in clients' lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with personal care as needed.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.

• Accompany clients to appointments, shopping or social activities.
• Provide reassurance and emotional support.
• Report changes or concerns to the Home Instead Basildon team.

Job Description

We are looking for a Weekend Care Professional to join our Home Instead Basildon team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for regular weekend work who enjoys helping others and wants to make a genuine difference to people's lives.

Clear and reliable weekend availability is essential for this role.

As a Weekend Care Professional, you could support clients with:

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Light household duties
• Medication support, in line with training and care plans
• Supporting clients with their daily routines
• Helping clients maintain their independence
• Accompanying clients to appointments, shopping or social activities
• Providing reassurance and emotional support
• Reporting any changes or concerns to the Home Instead team

Most importantly, you'll take the time to get to know the person you're supporting.

A cup of tea and a chat, helping someone prepare their breakfast, accompanying them on a walk or simply being there when they need someone, these moments can make a huge difference.

This is a weekend-focused position. Applicants must have clear and reliable availability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
