Job description

About Us...

Advinia has been providing high quality, person-centred care, specialised for older people and focusing on resident wellbeing for over 25 years. We operate 36 Care Homes across the UK, each led by a team of experienced and dedicated care professionals committed to prioritising the individual needs of Residents.

Our Mission...

Our B Happie theme guides everything we do, aiming to create an environment where residents and staff feel valued, respected, and happy. We promote three key pillars that keep our residents feeling connected, relaxed, and safe. For staff, we help to make them feel fulfilled, recognised, and purposeful.

Your Duties will include:

  1. Be responsible for all front-of-house duties, including welcoming visitors entering and exiting the building.
  2. Provide clerical support to the Home Manager and, when appropriate, other staff members.
  3. Be responsible for general HR duties.
  4. Completing and submitting payroll.
  5. Controlling the end-to-end recruitment process: onboarding new colleagues, gaining references, completing right-to-work checks, creating candidate files, applying for DBS checks, in line with the Safer Recruitment Policy.
  6. Answering telephone calls, providing advice and support, and referring to Heads of Department where appropriate.
  7. Passing on messages efficiently and in a timely manner.
  8. Preparing and displaying information leaflets and posters, responding to emails, collating information and brochures as required.
  9. Collating weekly statistics on enquiries, assessments, occupancy, and agency usage, and forwarding them to Support Office departments.
  10. Maintaining an accurate Resident list by recording move-in/move-out details when necessary.
  11. Supporting the Home Manager and other Administrators in clerical duties, maintaining accurate files and working to deadlines.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A confident, outward-going personality with a sales-oriented approach to assist the viewing process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage your own time, prioritise work, and work independently to drive referrals and improve occupancy.
  • A professional appearance.
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail.

In Return, we can offer:

  • Free DBS/PVG check.
  • Competitive pay rates.
  • Flexible pay through Wagestream.
  • Employment Assistance programme, including face-to-face counselling.
  • Paid Family Leave.
  • Professional training and ongoing career progression.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, or age.
