Job summary

Brainkind is seeking a weekend housekeeper at Redford Court, Liverpool, to provide cleaning services within a residential care home setting. The role requires weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) with 14–20 hours per week, flexible day hours, and experience or training in COSHH.

The successful candidate will maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, support service users, and work as part of a caring team. Salary is up to £13.91 per hour, with excellent benefits and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning within a care/residential setting is desirable but training will be provided.
• COSHH knowledge is advantageous for safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas to high hygiene standards in line with health and infection control policies.
• Maintain a homely and pleasant living environment for residents by performing general cleaning duties.
• Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals according to COSHH guidelines and safety procedures.
• Complete relevant documentation promptly and accurately.
