Job summary

A local care service provider in Ilkeston is seeking experienced Care Assistants for weekend roles. You will work from 07:00 to 14:30 on Saturdays and Sundays, supporting a small care home for up to 35 residents. Starting pay is £12.21 per hour, increasing after qualifying period.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in a similar care environment required.
• Checkable work history is mandatory.
• Up-to-date training certificates needed (Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, Infection Control).
• An in-date enhanced DBS check must be provided.

Immediate Starts available for experienced Care Assistants to work weekend hours in the Ilkeston area.

We have rewarding work opportunities available for experienced Care Assistants to work for a small but busy care home housing up to 35 residents.

Based in Ilkeston, you will work as part of the team following individual care plans and reporting any arising issues.

Responsibilities

• Take part in daily activity sessions to entertain residents.
• Undertake housekeeping duties, including serving meals, feeding residents and laundry.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment.
• Have a checkable work history.
• Have up-to-date mandatory training documents (Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, Infection Control). If you do not have up-to-date certificates, online training is available.
• Have an in-date enhanced DBS check. If your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you.

This is an ongoing position.

You will be working from 07:00 to 14:30 on Saturdays and Sundays.

You will be paid £12.21 per hour, rising to £13.33 per hour after a successful qualifying period.
