Overview

We are currently offering weekend hours, with weekly, for experienced Care Assistants at a welcoming care home in the Buxton area.

The home supports up to 20 elderly residents with a range of health conditions, including learning disabilities, dementia, and sensory impairments.

As a Care Assistant, you will work day shifts and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include following individual care plans, assisting with personal care, supporting residents with mobility and handling, and facilitating engaging activities that enhance their quality of life.

The home is known for its warm and supportive environment, and we are looking for individuals with an outgoing, bubbly personality and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with both residents and fellow staff members, so a friendly and team-oriented approach is essential.

If you have the experience and enthusiasm to contribute to a caring and professional team, we would love to hear from you. Immediate weekend shifts are available, and all hours are paid weekly.

This role offers ongoing weekend work for the right candidate

You could be working hours on Saturday and/or Sunday working earlies or afters:

  • 07:00 to 14:30
  • 14:00 to 22:00

You will be paid £12.21 per hour for hours worked from 07:00 to 19:00 and will be paid an enhanced rate of £16.24 per hour for hours worked from 19:00 to 07:00.

Your pay rate with rise after working for a 13 week period.
