Job summary

Woodlands Care Home in Aberdeen is seeking a caring Care Assistant to join our team on bank hours, predominantly weekends. You will support residents with daily living, dignity and wellbeing, following care plans and reporting changes.

Full training and ongoing development are provided, with a supportive team and a respectful, compassionate environment. PVG checks are paid, and uniforms are provided to support you in delivering consistent, high‑quality care.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks including personal care, mobility and nutrition
• Support residents to maintain dignity, independence and wellbeing
• Follow care plans and report changes in condition to the team
• Create a warm, respectful environment and engage residents in social activities
