Job summary

Quality Service Recruitment Limited is seeking care staff for weekend shifts in West Bridgford. You will assist residents with daily routines, promoting independence and wellbeing, while following personalized care plans to ensure dignity and comfort.

Typical hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00 to 22:00, with an hourly rate of £12.75 and weekly pay. Mandatory training available, DBS can be arranged, and visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within a similar care environment.
• Up-to-date mandatory training: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, Infection Control.
• Enhanced DBS check (or ability to arrange one).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily routines to promote independence.
• Monitor health and wellbeing and report concerns to senior staff.
• Support social interaction and create a safe, comfortable living space.
• Respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
• Follow personalized care plans and maintain dignity.

Your work will involve assisting individuals with their daily routines, promoting their independence, and ensuring their overall health and happiness are at the centre of your priorities.

Additional duties may include the following:

• Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalized care plan, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
• Health and Wellbeing: Keep a close eye on residents’ health, communicating any concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager, helping with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
• Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued, respected and cared for.
• Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
• Safety and Comfort: creating a comfortable living space and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.

• You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training, with an added fee
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check, if your DBS have expired, we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
