Quantum Care is recruiting a Weekend Care Assistant for Melwood Grange in Royston. This part-time, permanent role offers weekend hours from 7.30am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 9.30pm. The role pays £13.96 per hour on weekends, with 10–15 hours per week.

You will provide compassionate person-centred care, support residents with dignity and maintain independence within a welcoming team.

Qualifications

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Melwood Grange Care Home in Royston. A luxury, 73 bed purpose-built care home set in the Hertfordshire countryside, Melwood Grange offers exceptional care in stylish surroundings, with premium facilities including a cinema, café, hair and beauty salon, and beautifully landscaped gardens.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-centered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.
