Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents in our UK care home. You’ll help with daily living, provide companionship, and contribute to delivering high-quality care and meaningful moments for residents.

You will work with a compassionate team, following care plans and ensuring residents receive personalised, attentive support in a warm and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living while following care plans.
• Provide companionship and social engagement to residents.
• Support residents with meals and hydration as needed and ensure one-to-one time.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll help residents enjoy each day by making sure they get the quality care and support they deserve. ABOUT YOU

To join us as a Care Assistant you’ll need to have some experience of caring for older people, a can-do approach and excellent communication skills. Your empathy and warm-hearted approach will shine through, but above all, you’ll have the compassion needed to deliver the highest standard of care and support for all our residents.
