Metroline Manchester is a recently formed subsidiary of ComfortDelGro. In March, we were awarded contracts to operate four franchises and join the Bee Network in Greater Manchester by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Metroline was formed in [year missing], and is the fourth largest bus operator in London, running about 17 percent of the city’s scheduled bus services. Job Summary

Pay: from £17 per hour

Hours:

• Part Time – Friday and Saturday late shift/night shift

Location: Sharston

Metroline drivers pride themselves on taking care of our passenger journeys safely by following all required rules and protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

• Ensure your bus is kept in a clean and roadworthy condition
• Drive safely in accordance with current road and traffic legislation, executing challenging manoeuvres when required
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive, can-do attitude
• Maintain professionalism while ensuring smooth and safe transportation for our diverse range of passengers
• Collaborate with the wider team and support functions to exceed performance targets
• Work closely with the management team to address any malfunctions or suggest improvements

Essential Criteria

• Full PCV licence and up-to-date CPC
• A positive, professional approach with excellent communication skills to assist and engage passengers from all walks of life
