Three Shires Hospital in Northampton is seeking a Physiotherapist for weekend bank shifts. You will join the physiotherapy team to provide assessments and treatment during busy periods.

The role requires a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy with HCPC registration, strong clinical reasoning, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team. Weekend availability and flexible approach are essential.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Good clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed physiotherapy assessments for musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, or post-surgical needs.
• Formulate and deliver individualised treatment plans using evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as exercise therapy, manual techniques, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals for integrated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in line with HCPC, CSP, and organisational guidelines.
• Educate on safe use of mobility aids and therapy equipment.
