Job summary

Circle Health Group’s Three Shires Hospital in Northampton is seeking a Physiotherapist to join the team on weekends as a bank position.

You will undertake musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, or post-surgical assessments and deliver evidence-based treatment plans, working within a multidisciplinary team and maintaining confidential patient records in line with HCPC and CSP guidelines. Availability on Saturdays and/or Sundays is required.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
• HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Good clinical reasoning, assessment, and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed physiotherapy assessments for patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, or post-surgical needs.
• Formulate and deliver individualised treatment plans using a range of evidence-based interventions.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions such as exercise therapy, manual techniques, mobility training, and functional rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to provide integrated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records in accordance with HCPC, CSP, and organisational guidelines.
• Assess for, recommend, and educate on the safe use of mobility aids and therapy equipment.

Salary: Up to £22.00 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in thePhysiotherapy department.

This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

This is a weekend position where the successful candidate must be available to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.
