Job summary

DPD Group is looking for a weekend 3.5 Tonne Collection and Delivery Driver based in Carlisle. This part-time role focuses on delivering a first-class experience and upholding the DPD brand on every doorstep.

You’ll work Saturdays and Sundays from 07:30 to 18:00, safely handling loads and using handheld devices to navigate your routes. A valid UK driving licence for at least 12 months is required, along with reliability and great customer service.

Qualifications

• Physically fit to handle loads up to 30kg.
• Reliable and customer-focused.
• Comfortable navigating local roads and using handheld devices.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle prep and loading for daily routes.
• Route mastery using handheld navigation to optimise deliveries.
• Deliver parcels to customers with a friendly, professional service.
• Problem-solve delivery challenges on the go, ensuring first-time delivery success.
• Safely handle parcels and protect vehicle security throughout shifts.
