Job summary

Randstad Staffing is seeking an Adult SEN Learning Support Assistant to work near Cranleigh, Surrey. You will support autistic adults with practical life skills in community settings, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule and a driving requirement for the Cranleigh area.

The role offers a stable daytime pattern, focusing on independence, confidence, and community integration for adults aged 18+. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or SEN settings (paid or voluntary).
• Ability to support autistic adults in daily tasks.
• Strong communication and empathy to engage learners.

Responsibilities

• Support autistic adults across daily tasks in the community cafe, training kitchen and outdoor garden.
• Proactively manage complex behavioural needs with a calm, positive approach.
• Provide respectful, dignified intimate personal care to ensure safety and comfort.
• Monitor and record learner progress using a structured, supportive approach.
