Overview

Are you a night-time owl with experience of working in a Care Home, living in the NG5 area? If this sounds like you then we would like to hear from you. We are looking for hard working, nighttime Care Assistants experienced with supporting vulnerable adults with dementia and other age-related conditions, who live in the Nottingham NG5 area. You will be working through the night, as part of a team, in a friendly, comfortable, residential home in the Nottingham NG5 area, supporting and caring for individuals with their nighttime routines, encouraging their independence and contributing to the emotional and wellbeing of the residents who make this their home.

Responsibilities
  • Personal Care
  • Helping with dressing, washing and feeding
  • Assisting with the movement and positioning of individuals
  • Offering companionship and care
  • Assisting with night routines
Requirements / Qualifications
  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Have a checkable work history
  • Have up to date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If you do not have up to date certificates we can offer online training (additional fee applies)
  • Have an in date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, we can arrange a new one for you
Additional Information
  • We are unable to offer support for VISA applicants
  • This is an ongoing opportunity and rewarding role
  • Hours available Monday to Friday with typical hours starting at 22:00 and finishing at 07:00
  • You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.35 per hour, plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay
