Job summary

Driver Hire Slough is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driver on behalf of an established customer within the food distribution sector, based near Maidenhead. This is a straightforward, weekday driving role with consistent hours and a competitive salary.

You will deliver to hotels, restaurants and hospitality venues, complete scheduled deliveries safely, and maintain a professional customer-facing approach. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ HGV Class 2 driving experience.
• Valid Category C driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
• Aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
• Reliable, punctual and customer-focused.
• Available for an immediate start and willing to attend an interview.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to hotels, restaurants and hospitality businesses.
• Complete scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional and friendly attitude when dealing with customers.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and comply with road transport regulations.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time.
