Job summary

IRD Recruitment is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 driver for the Bedford area, offering consistent weekday work and strong support from our team. This role involves multi-drop deliveries within one county, with a focus on Bedford and London routes.

Shift options include early-day starts (03:00–12:00), Monday to Friday. Applicants must hold a UK HGV Class 2 licence, CPC and Tacho Card, with up to 6 penalty points and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Full UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Tacho Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Minimum 1 year of Class 2 driving experience.
• Confident with London routes and delivery points.
• Comfortable with technology and completing paperwork.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries (up to 20 stops).
• Close-distance deliveries within one county.
• London deliveries awareness and safe driving within Bedford area.
