Job summary

Workchain is recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to operate on a Monday–Friday schedule in Tunstall (ST6). Start times are around 6:00am with typical shifts of 9–10 hours, hauling goods to distribution centres and warehouses. No manual handling; forklift loading/unloading is standard.

Suitable candidates hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E), CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card. New Pass drivers are encouraged to apply and join a supportive team with regular daytime work.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence is essential.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card validation required.
• Good communication and a professional attitude are important.
• New Pass drivers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• General haulage deliveries.
• Curtainsider work.
