Overview

Care Assistants required for Nottingham based care home, specialising in care of residents with dementia and other age-related illnesses.

This role is all about helping residents to live happy, enriched lives, providing a friendly face and aiding them in their day-to-day routines. As you get to know the residents you support, you will be able to recognize and help them achieve their personal goals.

Additional responsibilities may also include domestic tasks, following health and safety guidelines and condition update reports.

  • Complete domestic tasks as required and maintain a clean, safe living environment.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and document condition updates as necessary.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • You must have proven experience within a similar care environment
  • Have a checkable work history
  • Have up to date mandatory training documents: Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving and Handling, and Infection Control. If certificates are not up to date, online training can be offered for an added fee
  • Have an in date enhanced DBS check; if your DBS has expired, the facility can arrange a new one for you

This is an ongoing opportunity.

Your typical hours will be Monday to Friday starting at 16:00 and finishing at 22:00.

You will be paid an hourly rate of £12.55 plus up to 28 accrued holiday pay.
