Purpose: Deichmann are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant to join the team in our Stockport store.

You will be offered a competitive hourly rate of up to £12.41 per hour + non-contractual, hourly sales commission.

This is a part-time, permanent position with a contract of 8 hours per week. Ideal candidate: If you have energy, drive, and passion to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment, this is the role for you!

You should have a positive attitude towards providing excellent customer service, work well within a team, have the stamina for a busy shop floor, and remain calm under pressure.

Key activities:

• Approaching customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on our products.
• Serving customers at the till - processing sales transactions.
• Recommending and promoting complementary products with each sale.
• Collaborating with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Continuously replenishing stock to ensure shelves are always full.
• Processing stock deliveries promptly.
• Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy to a high standard.
• Performing any additional ad hoc duties as required.
