Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a Term-time Nursery Practitioner to join a nursery in Wednesbury starting in September. You will help plan and deliver activities, support children's development, and work as part of a caring team.

We welcome applicants with Level 2/3 Childcare or equivalent; previous nursery experience is preferred. Strong empathy, communication skills, and flexibility are essential to adapt to each child’s needs.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Childcare or ratio equivalent is required/ desirable
• Previous experience in a Nursery is preferred
• Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff and parents
• Patience, resilience and ability to provide emotional support
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving needs and teaching approaches
• Knowledge of teaching methodologies and resources to support individual students
• Education/teaching assistant qualifications are desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support and assistance to all children in the Nursery.
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities.
• Support the student’s academic, social and emotional development and promote independence.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for the student to thrive.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to fit the student’s learning style.
• Assist with assessing the student’s progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
