Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Previous nursery experience.
• Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, resilience and emotional support abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving student needs.
• Experience with teaching methodologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to all children in the Nursery.
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver tailored lessons and activities to meet the student’s needs.
• Support the student’s academic, social and emotional development, promoting self‑confidence and independence.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the student can thrive.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to accommodate the student’s learning style and abilities.
• Assist with the assessment of the student’s progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.
