Permanent vacancy - Wedding/Events Coordinator
Salary DOE
Location - Argyll & Bute
Working hours - 40 hours per week

Our client based in Argyll & Bute is looking for a Wedding Planner/Events Coordinator to join their team. They are situated in an absolutely stunning location on the West Coast of Scotland and are a very popular wedding venue. You will be required to be onsite one or two times a week, and the rest of your hours can be worked remotely. Please read below to find out more….

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meeting couples to discuss their wedding vision, budget, and timeline
  • Coordinating vendors, such as caterers, florists, photographers, and bands
  • Upselling venue services and products
  • On-the-day setup and coordination of logistics
  • Developing and executing a wedding day timeline and coordinating with all vendors to ensure the smooth running of the event
  • Providing support and guidance to the couple throughout the planning process, including answering questions and addressing any concerns
  • Handling any issues or emergencies that may arise on the wedding day
  • Updating the CRM system to ensure it is always up to date
  • Responding to initial inquiries, offering show rounds, and taking bookings
  • Posting on all social media platforms


About You:

  • The right candidate should have experience in weddings and/or events
  • Be a great problem solver, highly organized, a people person, and passionate about the role
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
  • Quick learner
  • Passionate about wedding planning or events
