Job summary

Artemis Venue Services Ltd is seeking friendly Casual Bar Team Members for Brookfield Barn, Lower Beeding, near Horsham. You will join our Front of House team to prepare and serve drinks, greet guests and help create a celebratory wedding-day atmosphere. Role is casual/zero-hours with flexible weekend and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a bar, restaurant or event venue is a plus, but training is provided for the right attitude.
• Positive, enthusiastic mindset and readiness to work as part of a team.
• Clear communication skills and tidy, professional presentation.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic during busy service hours.
• Flexible weekend, bank holiday and evening shifts; private transport essential due to rural location.

Responsibilities

• Beverage service: prepare and serve beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and basic cocktails.
• Welcome drinks setup: assist in preparing and tray-serving welcome drinks and toast prosecco.
• Guest care: provide a warm, polite experience to couples and guests.
• Bar maintenance: keep area clean, restock fridges/glassware and assist with glass washing.
• Event reset & close: set up drink stations and assist with end-of-shift tasks.
• Compliance: follow Challenge 25 age-verification, allergen awareness and safe alcohol service.
