A look into the role

As a Website Manager within our marketing team, you will:

1. Be responsible for day-to-day management of grantthorton.co.uk website to agreed business objectives and acquisition lead generation goals.
2. Lead regular reviews of the website and user experience across our digital channels.
3. Contribute to the strategic direction of UX for the UK corporate website of Grant Thornton.
4. Have ownership of the website development roadmap, working with GTIL (Grant Thornton International Limited) and development partners to ensure incremental improvements over time.
5. Understand the importance of web accessibility and ensure compliance.
6. Manage third party relationships and toolsets.
7. Help to produce training materials and deliver training on effective use of our web platform and templates.
8. Make strategic recommendations and provide advisory services to various teams across Markets and Clients.
9. Understand business challenges/opportunities and using the right technology to drive commercial value.
10. Review and report on progress of target search terms.
11. Report and present on website performance to a range of key stakeholders.

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Website Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is a university degree, relevant qualification, or substantial experience in managing a corporate website, ideally B2B.

1. Extensive experience in an admin role of one or more enterprise-level CMS platforms ideally Optimizely (EPiServer).
2. Experience of working closely with a diverse range of senior stakeholders and managing large-scale website projects.
3. Strong analytical background to understand data and implement change.
4. Experienced in website personalisation, user experience and information architecture.
5. Have clear communication, presentation skills and the ability to influence and drive decision-making.
6. Experience managing 3rd party suppliers and contracts and how to get the best out of strategic partnerships.
7. Line management experience – the ability to lead and develop others.

It would be great if you had some of the following skills but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:

1. Basic HTML, CSS coding and understanding of java functions.
2. Experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimise, Session Cam/Clarity, Siteimprove, Crownpeak DQM.
3. Experience of UX visualisation and prototyping tools such as FIGMA and Invision.
4. Experience with content management platforms.
5. Experience with Adobe Creative cloud applications e.g., Photoshop.
