Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
- Work with Site Marketing, Editorial, Design, Creative Production and Technology teams to ensure daily promotional images and copy for the sites are delivered on time
- Upload all site content ahead of the launch of the localised site, working with the Translations and Editorial teams and the Website Marketing Manager to ensure timely delivery of assets and copy
- Responsible for publishing the daily homepage, product list banners, product list content blocks, top navigation banners and product replacement banners for the local language sites including Japanese, Korean, German and Arabic sites using the CMS tool, ensuring the content planned by the Site Marketing team is in the right place at the right time
- Responsible for building daily preview versions of the following day’s website content (homepage, product list banners, product list content blocks, top navigation banners, product replacement banners) and updating content according to feedback
- Work within multiple CMS systems, including CoreMedia, working closely with the other content producers and technology teams to ensure smooth running of systems
- Ensure the exact timing of the daily update of the website aligns with email newsletter sends and the upload of new product
- Work closely with Content Producer counterparts based in local markets
- Feedback to the Senior Content Producer on enhancements for the CMS tools to ensure efficiency of work
- Facilitate the quick update of promotional content when required to support sales
- Monitor the global websites daily, facilitating the quick and efficient resolution of any errors
- Be the key contact for the global sites within the Website Marketing team
- Work with the tech and UX teams on updates, using the CMS
- Maintain and develop excellent relationships with other teams within the business and with counterparts across the group
- Other duties as called upon
The type of person we are looking for:
- Previous experience of publishing online content, preferably in fashion retail
- Experience with various CMS systems, CoreMedia is a plus, preferably with an additional understanding of 3rd party content targeting and testing tools (e.g. Qubit)
- Understanding of SEO best practice and its impact on web page production
- Understanding of HTML and CSS
- An understanding of retail fashion website’s customer and business needs
- Interest in working closely with the technology team to drive innovation
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) including timely response to queries.
- Ability to identify problems, demonstrate use of initiative and implement appropriate solutions
- Ability to work independently, prioritise work effectively, judging the relative importance of conflicting demands and planning actions to meet deadlines
- Ability to build close relationships with counterparts in different countries and time zones
- Sets a good example with a positive attitude and exemplarity behaviour
- Ability to work well under pressure and towards tight deadlines
- Ability to identify business crucial tasks and prioritise workload accordingly
- Excellent work ethos and good timekeeping
