Job summary

Parkside is seeking a Web Merchandiser in Uxbridge to help manage the online product catalogue and optimise the customer journey on a busy e-commerce site. The role is hybrid, offering 3 days in the office and 2 days from home, with a 6-12 month fixed-term contract and potential to go permanent.

You will work with digital teams to support promotional campaigns, merchandising improvements and product launches while leveraging analytics to drive decisions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising or website content role.
• Experience using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Business Manager) or similar platform.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and SEO.
• Experience using Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Managing the online product catalogue, ensuring product descriptions, imagery and metadata are accurate and up to date.
• Merchandising category pages to improve customer experience, navigation and conversion.
• Creating and scheduling promotional banners, landing pages and seasonal campaigns.
• Supporting new product launches and website content updates.
• Monitoring product performance and making merchandising recommendations based on analytics.
• Performing quality assurance checks to ensure content displays correctly across desktop and mobile.
• Making basic HTML and CSS edits to improve page presentation and resolve minor content issues.
• Applying SEO best practices, including metadata, keywords and page optimisation.
• Using analytics tools to monitor website performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Keeping up to date with e-commerce trends and competitor activity to drive continuous improvement.

Are you passionate about e-commerce and delivering an exceptional online customer experience? Do you have experience managing product content within an e-commerce platform and enjoy working with digital teams to optimise websites?

Our client is looking for a Web Merchandiser to join their Digital team on an initial 6-12 month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing online merchandising, supporting promotional campaigns, and enhancing the customer journey across a busy e-commerce website.

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced digital environment and has a passion for e-commerce.

• At least 1 year's experience in an e-commerce, digital merchandising or website content role.


• Experience using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (Business Manager) or a similar e-commerce platform.


• A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and SEO.


• Experience using Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.


• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.


• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

What's on Offer

• Salary: £36,000 per annum


• 5% Annual Performance Bonus based on agreed company objectives


• 6-12 month fixed-term contract with the opportunity to become permanent
