Job summary

Radius is seeking Junior to Mid-Level Software Engineers to join our digital website engineering team in Crewe. You will work on frontend and backend development using Next.js and Laravel, following TDD practices to deliver robust web platforms and scalable APIs.

You'll collaborate with designers, backend developers and take part in code reviews, sprints, and technical discussions while staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional experience in web development.
• Proficiency with Next.js and React.js.
• Experience with Laravel (PHP) backend framework.
• Understanding and practical experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Experience working with Git and modern development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js (React-based framework) and Laravel.
• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following TDD principles.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate frontend with backend services.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
• Debug and resolve technical issues across the stack.
• Stay updated with best practices and emerging trends in web development.
