We’re looking for a talented and motivated Web Developer with strong Shopify experience to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce websites built on Shopify, ensuring exceptional user experiences and seamless functionality.

You can work remotely either from Germany or the UK for this position.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable e-commerce solutions, with a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Shopify themes and custom features
• Build custom Shopify apps or modify existing ones
• Collaborate with designers and e-commerce managers to implement website functionality and design
• Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO
• Integrate third-party tools and APIs (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, inventory systems)
• Troubleshoot and debug site issues
• Stay updated on the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices

Your profile

• 2+ years of experience in web development
• Proven experience working with Shopify and Shopify Plus
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Strong knowledge of Liquid (Shopify's templating language)
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party app integrations
• Familiar with version control (e.g., Git)
