We are looking for a talented Web Developer with a focus on frontend development and design, who is eager to grow into a full-stack developer. Knowledge of Kentico CMS is a plus. The ideal candidate will be ultimately responsible for maintaining, designing, and developing robust, scalable web solutions using Kentico as the core CMS platform. While the role focuses on Web Development within the Kentico CMS, the candidate will get opportunities to work against other CMS-centric solutions from WordPress to Strapi using technologies ranging from React, Redux, Vercel, and NextJs.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain front-end templates and components for websites powered by Kentico CMS (Xperience).
  • Convert designs from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools into pixel-perfect, responsive HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • Assist in integrating CMS content using Kentico page templates, widgets, and web parts. Work with the development team to ensure smooth implementation of features using Kentico Portal Engine or MVC.
  • Collaborate with designers, other front-end developers, and backend developers to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
  • Ensure front-end code meets standards for performance, accessibility, and SEO. Participate in code reviews and team meetings, contributing ideas and learning from senior team members.
  • Develop responsive web and mobile applications using React, Next.js, Redux, and modern CSS techniques. Collaborate with UI/UX designers and bring designs to life from Sketch/Figma mockups.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development. Familiarity with front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js – a bonus but not essential).
  • Basic experience or exposure to a Content Management System (CMS) – experience with Kentico is a plus but not required (training provided).
  • Ability to work with REST APIs or JSON data structures.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating clean, user-friendly UIs. Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take feedback.
  • Desirable Skills (Nice to Have): Proficient in React Native, Redux, Next.js, and modern CSS frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Kentico Xperience (Portal Engine or MVC), or other CMS platforms like WordPress, Umbraco, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, and mobile testing via TestFlight.
  • Experience with Git or version control systems.
  • Proficiency in .NET (C#), ASP.NET MVC, and/or .NET Core for backend development. Knowledge of SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization.
