We are working with an IT software company that is recruiting for an experienced and talented Web Developer to their team.

Our client is a market leader in their field and develops their own software product for the E-commerce market. The role involves working within a small team of software developers and alongside a larger in-house support team of 13 staff. The primary platform used is Magento-based, with integrated e-commerce sites.

Daily skills:

• Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites with attractive user interfaces using HTML/HTML5 and CSS/CSS3.
• Magento layout development – XML and Frontend.
• Magento 2 backend knowledge (including API, modules, extensions).
• Proficiency in PHP.

Good to have:

• SASS/LESS.
• Experience in building consumer-facing web applications.
• Understanding of performance impact and importance in web development.
• Experience with Ionic Framework / Angular 5 (earlier versions of Angular are helpful but not essential).
• Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps / PWA.

Salary depends on experience (DOE), with 22 days holiday. The role is a full-time permanent position.
