VIQU have partnered with a global eCommerce organisation to hire a Lead Frontend Developer to guide a high-traffic customer-facing platform using React, TypeScript and Node.js.

You will shape technical direction, mentor developers, and work 3 days a week in the office (Tue, Thu and Fri) as part of a hybrid Agile team delivering scalable frontend software. This senior role emphasizes coding standards, performance optimization and collaboration with Product and Delivery teams.

Qualifications

VIQU have partnered with a global eCommerce organisation that delivers a high-traffic digital platform used by millions of customers worldwide. As they continue to invest in their technology function, they're looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to provide technical leadership across a business-critical engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior engineer looking to shape technical direction without moving into line management. You'll lead by example, driving engineering standards, reviewing code, mentoring developers and helping deliver a modern, scalable frontend platform.

You'll work within an Agile team focused on enhancing a customer-facing eCommerce platform, influencing architectural decisions and ensuring the team continues to deliver high-quality, performant software.
