An esteemed educational institution in Manchester is seeking a Web Content Coordinator to manage web content requests related to Executive Education. The role involves creating and editing content, supporting SEO and UX initiatives, and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and web copywriting. A hybrid working arrangement may be considered.
As Web Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating web content requests across the AMBS website. With a particular focus on Executive Education, your work will support the recruitment of professionals to AMBS’ suite of executive and professional development programmes.
With audience insight at the heart of everything, you will create and upload new content, edit existing content, and oversee contributions from others—ensuring everything is accurate, inclusive, and aligned with our brand guidelines and digital standards. This includes writing and editing copy, proofreading, sourcing or editing multimedia assets, and identifying opportunities to enhance the user experience. You will also be encouraged to contribute ideas to content development.
You will have the opportunity to support SEO and UX/CRO initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external agencies to ensure content and design decisions are user-informed and results-driven.
To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, with strong skills in Photoshop and image optimisation for the web. You’ll also need strong web copywriting skills, a sharp eye for good and consistent design, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of web accessibility standards and guidelines.
This role operates within a dual reporting structure: You will report to the Digital Marketing Manager for strategic guidance on content marketing and brand alignment, while also working under the supervision of the Senior Digital Developer, who oversees web content requests and projects.
Interviews for this role will take place on the 3rd and 4th of September.
What you will get in return:
