Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Manager to own the Prime Video Web Client experiences. You will lead a team of engineers, raise the quality bar, and apply AI-driven approaches to testing and development to accelerate delivery across browsers and devices.

You’ll partner with product, design, and platform teams to plan and deliver on the Web Client roadmap, coaching engineers and shaping the technical vision for scalable, reliable systems used by millions of customers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks lifecycle (coding standards, reviews, CI/CD, testing, livesite ops)
• Experience in engineering and leading cross-functional teams
• Experience in defining and developing multi-tier web services
• Experience working directly within engineering teams
• Experience managing engineers
• Experience designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery and quality of Prime Video Web Client experiences.
• Lead and develop a team of software engineers, setting clear expectations and removing blockers.
• Apply AI-driven approaches to testing and development workflows to improve quality and velocity.
• Establish mechanisms to monitor customer experience, software quality, and operational health.
• Collaborate with product, design, and platform engineering to plan and deliver the Web Client roadmap.
