At easyJet Holidays, our Technology Team comprises pragmatic architects responsible for strategic technology decisions, solution design, and safeguarding architecture information. We collaborate across squads and with stakeholders to meet business needs effectively.

We seek a Web Architect specialized in the Digital domain to support our strategic Commercial and Digital Product initiatives. This role involves shaping the customer technology architecture and documenting our Digital technology landscape.

What you'll be doing:
Leading the technology strategy for end-to-end solutions in the Digital domain, working with technical leads and the Head of Architecture to set long-term architectural direction. Engaging with Commercial and Digital Product teams for technology discovery, providing conceptual solutions, options analysis, and guidance to realize our customer vision. Producing high-quality solution design artifacts that balance functional and non-functional requirements. Providing architectural guidance to product teams and vendors, ensuring solutions realize the design. Documenting and governing solutions across the customer domain and contributing to wider governance across the technology landscape.

Requirements of the Role:

  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing multi-technology, multi-vendor solutions, including RESTful APIs, Microservices, CDN, CMS (Sitecore), Front-End Frameworks (React), Caching & Search Solutions, and Cloud Native Solutions.
  • Experience with AWS architecture components, third-party integrations, Event-Driven Architecture, and API Design.
  • Practical understanding of Generative and Agentic AI technologies.
  • Background in software development.
  • Experience in travel, retail, or e-commerce industries is highly desirable.
