Job summary

MBDA invites undergraduates to join the Network Communications Department for a 12-month placement starting September 2027. The role offers real-world project experience in secure communications and systems engineering within weapon systems, with potential progression to graduate roles.

Salary is £24,460 with hybrid on-site working, and a strong benefits package including pension and holidays. Candidates must be British citizens or dual nationals and BPSS clearance will be required.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electronics with Communications, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.

Responsibilities

• Deliver secure communication systems into MBDA Weapon Systems across the whole Project Life Cycle.
• Develop Systems Engineering and Network Communications expertise for Complex Weapons Projects across multiple areas.
