Job summary

Howard Kennedy LLP is seeking a Paralegal to support the Wealth & Succession team within Private Client. The role involves assisting with administration of estates, probate applications, and tax-related tasks for high net worth clients both in the UK and overseas.

You will work closely with fee earners, coordinate with banks, HMRC, and other advisers, and help ensure timely, accurate delivery of client matters.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant within Private Client/Wealth & Succession or Probate teams.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, client-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of estates, including probate and inheritance tax tasks.
• Prepare applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration.
• Liaise with HMRC and financial institutions; maintain records and deadlines.
• Provide high standard of client care and manage client onboarding.
• Maintain electronic and physical files and assist with billing processes.
