An established industry player is seeking a Wealth Planner to join their Private Wealth team in Newcastle. This role involves collaborating with financial advisors and lawyers to provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice to clients. You'll play a crucial role in managing client portfolios, conducting cash flow analyses, and drafting recommendations. The firm values a supportive culture that prioritizes employee wellbeing and encourages diversity and inclusion. If you're looking for a dynamic environment where you can make a real impact, this opportunity is perfect for you.
The team operates as part of Womble Bond Dickinson Wealth Limited and has a solid reputation for providing creative financial planning, tax solutions, and investment advice to a wide range of private clients.
Our Private Wealth team comprises lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, and tax specialists. Their expertise is highly regarded and ensures that our clients' wealth is protected now and for future generations. This unique setup allows us to offer our clients the very best full-service advice possible.
You'll join our Investments and Pensions team in Newcastle, working primarily on clients of the law firm, including individuals, corporates, trusts, and charities.
Our Wealth Planners support the advisers by attending client meetings, acting as a key point of contact, researching financial products, preparing and presenting lifetime cash flow analyses, developing solutions, and drafting recommendation reports and letters. You'll also implement these recommendations and regularly review client portfolios. Much of our work is done in collaboration with lawyers and accountants, enabling us to formulate complex and holistic advice that considers financial planning, legal, and tax issues.
This is a busy team, so you'll need to work well under pressure with a high volume of work. We operate within a highly procedural environment shaped by law firm practices and FCA regulations, requiring a good understanding of processes and procedures. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong technical knowledge and experience in recommending investments, pensions, and life assurance, are essential. Familiarity with IT packages like Microsoft Office is expected, and experience with Intelliflo, Voyant, or other cash flow analysis tools is a plus.
