What will I get to do as a Wealth Manager at HSBC?

Wealth Management is a relationship-based service. As a Wealth Manager, you’ll have access to a portfolio of wealth customers, career progression, and an environment that values authentic connections and relationship building. You’ll support all aspects of a customer’s financial life, helping them grow, manage, and preserve their wealth, while providing a professional service in a complex financial world.

In this role, you will:

  1. Manage and support a portfolio of high-value premier customers
  2. Act as a trusted adviser, providing holistic financial advice and supporting customers through key life events such as investing, saving, planning for retirement, or protecting their family
  3. Conduct in-depth reviews to identify customers' personal and financial needs and deliver tailored wealth management and financial planning services
  4. Advise on a full range of products and services, including HSBC products and external partners'
  5. Deliver needs-based solutions through effective communication and influencing
  6. Continuously monitor and gather information to assess impacts, risks, and opportunities for the business

What you’ll give us:
  • Relevant Level 4 qualifications (Dip CII, CISI, or equivalent) and current Statement of Professional Standing
  • CAS status is desired
  • Experience providing holistic financial advice on a range of products and services
  • Previous roles as a Wealth Adviser, IFA, Financial Planning Manager, or similar
  • Experience in retail banking, relationship management, or front office environments
