Job summary

Schroders is inviting applicants for the 2027 London Summer Internship Programme, a 10-week experience designed to introduce the Asset Management industry. You will join the Wealth Management team, work on live projects, and shadow senior professionals to gain practical insight.

Ideal candidates are analytical, proactive, and client-focused, with strong communication skills and a drive to learn. The internship includes on-site facilities and future opportunities within Schroders.

Qualifications

• When the internship commences, you will have completed your second year of studies and will be on track to graduate with a degree (or equivalent) in 2028.
• We welcome applications from all degree subjects.
• Please note that we do not accept applications from students in their final year who intend to undertake further study (e.g. a Master's degree) before entering employment.
• A good working knowledge of document production software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• A healthy interest in the benefits of AI and how emerging technologies can support client service, efficiency and innovation
• The ability to understand our target audiences

Our 2027 London Summer Internship Programme runs for 10 weeks, starting on Monday 14 June 2027 and finishing on Friday 20 August 2027. This internship is designed to give you a unique introduction to the Asset Management industry and offers valuable insight into how your chosen department operates within Schroders.

The team:

Cazenove Capital is the dedicated Wealth Management business of the Schroder Group in the UK, renowned for providing specialist financial solutions to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, charities, and their advisers. Leveraging the investment expertise of both Cazenove Capital and Schroders, as well as carefully selected external providers, we deliver leading portfolio management, banking, and investment advisory services. As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience through core areas of our Wealth business. You will collaborate with experienced professionals, work closely with clients, and develop a strong understanding of investments, financial planning, and client relationship management.
