Rathbones Group is offering a two-year Apprenticeship through the Investment20/20 programme in Glasgow, rotating across Operations, People, Marketing, Investment Management and Financial Planning. You will study for the Level 3 Business Administrator qualification with support from a mentor and buddy, and potential future role opportunities within the firm.

We’re looking for apprentices who are thoughtful and open to learning. You don’t need work experience in the industry, but you should be motivated to grow and ready to make a positive impact.
Over two years, you’ll rotate through different parts of our business. That might include Operations, People, Marketing, Investment Management or Financial Planning. Learn both technical and professional skills, such as client service management and administration, alongside presentation and networking skills.
You’ll be working towards your Level 3 Business Administration Qualification as an apprentice and will be supported with:
At the end of the programme, you may have the opportunity to apply for a role in a client facing, or one of our Enabling Functions teams depending on your interests and skill set.
Please be aware for apprentices based in Glasgow there will be occasions when travel is required to an office that is not your contractual base, and Rathbones will cover this cost.
You will join as part of the Investment20/20 programme. You will have opportunities to meet and network with trainees and apprentices across the industry, as well as participate insight, training and social events.
A Rathbones Academy Apprentice provides support to multiple teams within Rathbones as part of various rotational placements, ensuring smooth operations across departments and assisting with a variety of administrative and project‑based tasks whilst working towards the Level 3 Business Administrator qualification.
The ideal candidate is organised, proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of handling a diverse range of tasks in a dynamic, client‑focused environment.
Examples of tasks and projects included in the role holder include but are not limited to:
You will study for the Level 6 Modern Apprenticeship via an apprenticeship, tuition for which is provided by BPP.
As part of the apprenticeship 6 hours of your working week will be dedicated to this learning, with an expectation that study will also take place outside of working hours.
