Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dynamic individual to join their We Care You Care project as a Project Officer. This role involves supporting a vital communication and campaign initiative aimed at empowering local carers in Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland. You will engage with the community, ensuring that carers are informed about the support services available to them. Qualifications

Job description

We are here to support, promote and develop voluntary and community action in Middlesbrough.

We Care You Care (WCYC) Project Officer

Salary: starting at £29,269 (pro rata, pay award pending) + up to 6% pension.

Working 28 hours per week (0.8fte). All posts at MVDA are subject to continued funding.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to support the work of We Care You Care, a communication and campaign project aimed at reaching carers across Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland to ensure they have the knowledge to access the support services they need. You will lead on capturing the voice of local carers and community engagement.

We are looking for someone with good communication and organisation skills, with a sound knowledge of IT systems and social media. An understanding of the local voluntary and community sector and the challenges that our local carers face would be an advantage but not essential.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 12 noon on Monday 28 October 2024.
