Physiotherapist – Functional Assessor

Location: Leicester

Salary: £39,500 + excellent benefits

Hours of work: Full or part time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, hybrid working

Role overview

You will conduct assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face to evaluate how health conditions impact daily life. Your insights will contribute to reports assisting the Department for Work and Pensions in benefit eligibility decisions. We prioritize quality and respect in every assessment, supporting you to manage caseloads efficiently across diverse cases.

Candidate requirements

• HCPC registered physiotherapist with at least 1 year of broad post-registration experience
• Proactive with a desire to learn
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work towards targets in a supportive environment
• Experience working with a range of conditions, including mental health
