Role: Nurse – Functional Assessor

Location: Kirkcaldy

Salary: £39,500 + excellent benefits

Hours of work: Full or part-time, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, with hybrid working

Overview: Are you a nurse seeking a better work-life balance while helping people? Join our Assessments Division to utilize your clinical skills in a new way, assisting individuals in progressing with their lives.

Responsibilities: Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to evaluate how disabilities or health conditions impact daily life. Gather insights, ask questions, and produce reports to assist the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining benefit eligibility. Each case varies, offering a diverse and impactful workload, supported by our team to manage caseloads efficiently and deliver respectful, quality service.

Candidate Requirements:

• An NMC registered nurse with at least 1 year of post-registration experience
• Proactive, eager to learn
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to work towards individual and team targets
• Experience working with diverse conditions, including mental health
