Job description

£25,600, Rotherham, Attractive Monthly Bonus Scheme, Days only, early Friday finish, 22 days holiday plus stats, private health care, 9% pension contribution, free car parking, on site canteen facilities, uniform and premium paid overtime.


Our client has a new position within their manufacturing business for an experienced Pattern Assembler to join their expanding team on a full time permanent basis. Working as a Pattern Assembler you will be reporting into the Wax Assembly Manager and will be responsible for working alongside them to day to day. Duties will include:



  • Assembling pattern components by following assembly instructions.

  • Using various tools, jigs, fixtures, and adhesives to build accurate and consistent wax moulds or patterns.

  • Visually inspecting parts for surface defects, dimensional accuracy, or damage before and after assembly.

  • Ensuring patterns meet tolerances and customer specifications.



  • Preparing and maintaining accurate production records, including work completed and any non-conformances.


As a Pattern Assembler you will be required to have:



  • Previous experience working within a similar role

  • Strong dexterity skills

  • Understanding of workplace health and safety standards.

  • Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

  • Reliable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team


This role would suit someone with previous experience working as a Wax assembler, pattern assembler, mould maker or assembly technician within a castings, pattern shop or wax assembly department. This is a fantastic opportunity in a role that offers future scope including potential training for further skills including 3D printing and CNC machining.
