Job summary

Carmichael UK is seeking an Estimator to join our team in Manchester to prepare estimates for civil engineering projects in the water sector, working with a tendering team to secure work.

You will interpret PQQ/ITT requirements, perform BoQ take-offs, and collaborate with Bid Managers, procurement, and business development to develop customer solutions and hand over to site teams upon contract award.

Qualifications

• Prepare estimates for civil engineering projects.
• Interpreting client tender requirements from PQQ and ITT documentation.
• Take off and review BoQ’s from client information.
• Prepare estimating adjudication pack and present basis of estimate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Estimates.
• Interpreting client tender requirements from PQQ and ITT documentation.

• Prepare estimates in accordance with Company procedures promptly.
• Collate supporting information including risk registers and assumptions.
• Handover to site teams at contract award.
