Water/Wastewater Design Engineer

Position Type: Full Time

Office Locations: Warrington and Malvern, PA

Salary Range: $60,000 to $90,000 annually

Position Description

The water/wastewater design engineer designs and oversees water and wastewater systems, including treatment plants, distribution systems, and pumping stations. They may also work on flood prevention and water efficiency projects. Involvement includes all aspects of engineering work related to planning, design, operation, and construction services for wastewater treatment plants, sanitary sewers, sewage force mains, pump stations, water distribution systems, and booster pump stations.

Responsibilities

1. Design tasks including site layout, treatment and pumping systems, utility design, and permitting.
2. Preparation of reports and permit applications.
3. Review of subdivision plans and utility plans submitted by developers for approval.
4. Administration of utility construction projects.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in water/wastewater infrastructure engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D for pipeline projects.
• Registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is preferred.
