Job summary

Belcan is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support water and wastewater projects across Hertfordshire and Surrey. You will manage commissioning activities from installation through to handover, coordinating with design teams, suppliers and client stakeholders.

The role requires a minimum of three years in commissioning within the water sector, with qualifications such as an HNC or degree, ECS card, and safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience with main contractors on water and wastewater projects.
• Knowledge of commissioning and installation of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Minimum three years in a commissioning role within the water industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning and systems integration activities.
• Lead FAT and SAT, review commissioning documentation and defect close-out.
• Configure, calibrate equipment and deliver operator training and reports.
