Blueprint Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support major water and wastewater process projects across the full commissioning lifecycle. Two positions exist in Hertfordshire and Surrey, with options Inside or Outside IR35.

You will oversee installation, testing, systems integration and handover, working closely with design teams, suppliers and client teams. The role requires hands-on commissioning, FAT/SAT and site leadership, typically 40–45 hours per

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in water/wastewater commissioning
• Experience with main contractor projects in water and wastewater
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical installation and commissioning
• Ability to interpret schematics, FDS and P&IDs
• Knowledge of safety rules and statutory legislation
• Proactive problem-solving and site leadership abilities
• Confident client-facing communication skills
• Self-management and strong organisational skills
• Holds ECS (CSCS) card and Water Hygiene/Safety qualifications would be advantageous

Responsabilités

• Deliver commissioning across water and wastewater projects from design through handover
• Lead installation, testing and FAT/SAT coordination
• Develop commissioning plans and documentation
• Coordinate electrical and mechanical installation activities
• Witness and inspect commissioning work and subcontractor activities
• Review RAMS and monitor supply-chain performance
• Provide progress reports to project management
• Train client operations and maintenance teams
• Act as front-line supervisor during installation and commissioning phases
